Falinks is one of my all-time favourite Pokémon - Have you SEEN the way they march in formation? Have you HEARD their steppy feet? - AND my favourite new Mega Evolution, so it deserves some special treatment: not only are we Shiny hunting it, we're going for a Shiny Alpha! Shiny Pokémon are very rare differently-coloured forms, Alpha Pokémon are also rare and bigger with better stats. Combine the two and you've got an epic quest!
