This week has been hard as I was in the throes of menses so my patience was thin, I was craving things I hadn't in a month, and I hit another plateau (it seems my body has a trend of holding steady for at least 5 days and then dropping the following week, alternating each week.)

I'm starting to eat more intuitively - it seems I'm getting better at recognizing what my body needs each given day: knowing when to push through and work out harder, and when to bring it back and rest and refeed. I know that once my sleep starts to suffer and I start feeling anxious, that I need to take in more carbs in order to replenish my glycogen stores, reduce my cortisol levels, and get my body to chill out. Why I called eating a small box of 4 Lindor truffles a "risk" is because I was worried that it could possibly trigger a bigger binge, but I'm happy to say that it didn't.

I admit I'm a little nervous about "losing control" over the holidays because I'm going to be tempted by so many social events, but I'll update you on how that goes next week.
