EYE OPENER! Two Nations: Ghana and Ivory Coast in Western Africa produce 70% of the planets Cocoa. Here, I am visiting a small cocoa farm in the jungles of the Western Region of Ghana.
Without any machinery aid, these simple farmers grow, cut, and transport cocoa pods and then open each one manually, and remove every bean manually by hand. After roasting them in the sun, they sell them to dealers for a price determined by weight.
The average earning for one of these cocoa farming FAMILIES is less than $2 US dollars a day. They sleep in nearby mud-huts without electricity or running water.

Walking through the Toy Fair I spotted a small booth for D-Dart, the company most famous for its Tempest blaster line of odd, circular wrist mounted gauntlets. While checking out the Tempest and new Tempest Pro, they decided to let me be one of the first in the world to see the new D-Dart HAILSTORM, a Rival HIR compatible version of the Tempest which a super high 76 round capacity! Wow!
I test out the first ever prototype in the video (it was low on batteries) and the second prototype (the painted one). Both of these are still very much in development and will be tweaked before release.
My main complaint about these was the ROF, but after talking to the designers I suggested a Turbo Mode or a X2 Button that would give the user the option to switch firing speeds. We will see what happens.
This blaster should be $60-$70 and come out in October of 2020. It comes with a rechargeable Lithium battery. More details to come.
