Come behind the scenes of Jared's Epic Nerf Battle 4, the largest NERF event on the planet. Held on March 23rd 2019, #JENB4 hosted 4,000 attendees at AT&T Stadium in Arlington Texas. Participants got to get hands on with the latest blasters from Nerf and Fortnite, see unreleased prototypes from Hasbro and even tour an entire Walmart End-Zone complete with Nerf throne !
Special guests included Twin Toys, Extreme Toys, Super Hero Kids, Sophie Lighting, Team SoloMid and Dude Perfect, in addition to famous Nerf YouTubers Lord Draconical and Aaron Esser.
The 2019 event had tremendous support from Hasbro and Walmart and served as the national launch party of the Nerf Fortnite series of blasters. More 20,000 pieces of Free Ammo were given out in addition to hundreds of new blasters.
Jared's Epic Nerf Battle is typically held in the Spring of each year in Arlington Texas, but this could change or expand in the future.

Walking through the Toy Fair I spotted a small booth for D-Dart, the company most famous for its Tempest blaster line of odd, circular wrist mounted gauntlets. While checking out the Tempest and new Tempest Pro, they decided to let me be one of the first in the world to see the new D-Dart HAILSTORM, a Rival HIR compatible version of the Tempest which a super high 76 round capacity! Wow!
I test out the first ever prototype in the video (it was low on batteries) and the second prototype (the painted one). Both of these are still very much in development and will be tweaked before release.
My main complaint about these was the ROF, but after talking to the designers I suggested a Turbo Mode or a X2 Button that would give the user the option to switch firing speeds. We will see what happens.
This blaster should be $60-$70 and come out in October of 2020. It comes with a rechargeable Lithium battery. More details to come.

This is my unboxing and review of the new 2019 Nerf Fortnite TS or Tactical Shotgun blaster. The blaster will be available everywhere in the US on June 1st 2019. This non electric blaster shoots MEGA darts, has an internal magazine that holds 4 darts, and a special onboard cubby that holds an additional 4 for a total of 8.
In my testing the blaster consistently shoots 75FPS in stock, out of the box form, and slam fire is easily possible.
This video also includes the internets first ever look at the internals of the blaster.

This is a Semi-Automatic, Motorized Fly-Wheel Rival Blaster that runs on 6 C Batteries (Not Included). The blaster is not compatible with the Rival Rechargeable Battery Pack. This blaster has no deco, 1 sling point, and 1 tac rail. The blaster averaged at or ABOVE 95 fps in the chrono testing, about on par with a PERSES in regards to stock power. The blaster has a 12 round internal spring fed magazine.
We assume the blaster will also be offered in RED but as of the time of this video it has never been seen in red, including on the packaging back.
