The first in our weekly Virtual Production livestream sessions where we share tips on compositing and other film and virtual broadcast techniques in Unreal Engine.
Join our weekly session to:
1. Learn new workflows using the OWL Unreal Engine Compositing Toolkit
2. Ask questions about specific features and workflows
You can download the OWL Compositing Toolkit free here: https://offworld.live/download-center
Get support or share ideas with our large creator community on Discord: discord.gg/VQXARA2
A beginner guide to setting up the Toolkit can be found here: youtube.com/playlist?list=PLElT6SIg9JnBaRPTO2U4Sg9yLnWqZqdLY
Each week we do a short demonstration of a specific workflow followed by open Q&A
All workflows and blueprints are free for download in our GitHub and Knowledge Center
Topics covered will include:
- CG and Matte Elements that precisely match your Viewport with full Post-Process Effects.
- Media Plates which maintain their position in 3D space proportionally to moving cameras allowing:
1. Background media plates to be included in Composure workflows using tracked cameras.
2. Moving virtual camera shots in Composure workflows without tracked cameras.
3. Non anti-aliased media to be added on 2d planes in standard Unreal virtual environments.
- Media I/O input/ output passes for NDI, Spout, Screen Capture and UMG.
- Reflections, shadows, translucency
- Use Sequencer and Movie Render Queue
- Use Take Recorder and live camera tracking
