The Virgin Mary is a very important figure in Christianity, but there are various groups that oppose her, saying that she is merely a instrument of God and is completely unimportant, going as far as to that she isn't even perpetually virgin and had many children with Joseph! On the opposite side however there are people who exaggerate her highness, saying that she was conceived without original sin, saying that she is a "co-redemptrix" and some even going as far as saying she is in a quasi-hypostatic union with the Holy Spirit.
How do we avoid excesses while respecting the Virgin Mary properly? This stream will answer that question.
