As the topic of ecumenical councils become hotter and hotter with each passing day, it becomes more and more important to explain what an ecumenical council even is in the first place and on who has it right. I also talk about whether Orthodox Christians have ecumenical or dogmatic council even after the schism, spoiler and plot twist is yes, in fact technically speaking one can speak about 9 ecumenical councils in the Orthodox Church.
