NYC artist Andy Golub's annual Bodypainting Days have been a tradition since 2014, and in spite of the world being in a state of pandemic, the event still took place on July 25. There were fewer models, artists and onlookers than usual, and social distancing with masks was the rule, but there was still a palpable joy in creating art and freedom of expression. This was the first time many had ventured out of doors in months, and there was a heady sense of release that helped to fuel the day with positivity.

We are speaking with them about their new endeavors and how they've had to pivot in this brave new world of life, death and art.
