Originally written for the piano, violinist Alex DePue and guitarist Miguel De Hoyos don't seem to care! As they rehearse, and unleash DePue's original arrangement of the work behind the scenes, bystanders begin to congregate around them just to behold the series of miracles... from one note to the next, it really is a SERIES of miracles until the breathtaking finish. Performances of this arrangement from Mozart's work are found elsewhere, all over the internet, and have made the duo high and in public demand at venues all over the world.
ArtsGames is the entity making great strides towards re-introducing the Arts back into the international spotlight for the Olympic games, according to the wishes of Olympics' founders.
The Arts slowly went wayside from the athletic competitions within the Olympics in the 1940's, and now we hold new hope for the progress of including the Performing Arts, in several categories, as ArtsGames presses on with the initiative.
Alex DePue and Miguel De Hoyos were honored to have been invited for the global launch of ArtsGames in 2016, enjoying an all-expense paid trip to Rio de Janeiro as guests of the ArtsGames, and performing right in the middle of the 2016 Summer Olympics opening ceremonies.
