Step back in time with us as we take a closer look at a true design classic: the vintage Parker 45 fountain pen and mechanical pencil set. Often called the perfect "first" vintage pen, the Parker 45 was a revolutionary and incredibly popular model that served students, professionals, writers, as well as JFK and Queen Elizabeth for decades.
In this video, we'll explore the fountain pen's design, quirks, and features, and how its innovative cartridge/converter filling system changed the game. Most importantly, we'll ink it up and see how its nib performs in a writing test. We'll also examine the matching mechanical pencil, which gets less attention, but is an excellent sidekick in its own right.
