In this video, I teach how to make a retro/vintage granny square blanket as seen on the show Euphoria in Season 2. This is an easy pattern but you do need some crochet experience to make it. Understanding how to make double and treble crochets is recommended.

With this yarn weight and hook , each square measures 7x7 inches.
I have written approximate amounts of yarn required for a 3x4 ft and 4x5 ftblanket below based on the yarn I used with a 5 mm hook.
I'll add the amount of balls suggested but that will vary if you decide to use a different brand. In that case, you'll need to focus on getting the same weight of yarn ( worsted or size 4) and then the amount of grams used.
