In this video we present various vintage Alley Agate / J. Pressman children’s glass toy and dishware sets and provide a general price guide for each item. The box set items were sold by the J. Pressman & Co. Inc. toy maker out of NYC in the 1930’s. The glass figurines were likely sold to Pressman and other jobbers from Alley Agate.
Ron Shepherd is our guide here and he shares some terrific insights that he has learned from his research, including a segment on the Alley glass radio antenna insulators which were produced in the mid 1930’s. Alley Agate is best known for their toy glass marbles production in the 1920’s - 40’s
