Why hello there. Welcome to the Village Square Mall located in Effingham, IL. The mall would open in 1971 with G.C Murphy as anchor. By the early 2000s the mall would begin to struggle and by 2017 the malls final anchor JCPenney would close. As of 2024 the mall is full of antique shops and local businesses, let’s go inside and take a look.
