It's not 2008 anymore -- when The Guild was a towering model for aspiring fictional web series producers, it seemed as though anyone who could create a good series and had the right business sense could go directly to advertisers and get their series paid for. Studios seemed hesitant then to join in. Now, many studios have opened up their new media divisions, and with indie web series flooding the market, the question remains: in all that clutter, how can the indie producers possibly compete? More importantly -- are they even going to, or simply join the studios?
