Compilation of scenes of retired railroad workers (gandy-dancers) from the Vicksburg (Mississippi) Yards reenacting track-laying and lining activities and songs. Interviewees are Rufus Puckett, J.T. Tucker, and Wilbur Puckett; singers are George Johnson (green cap), Mr. Garfield (white shirt) and Henry Harkin (orange cap). (Harkin might be the caller recorded by Herbert Halpert in Tuscumbia, Alabama, May 1939 and identified as "Henry Hankins.") Foreman is R.J. Weaver.
