Hey there guys! Here's some unfortunate news. Just a few weeks ago, Vancouver airport was getting about 5 747s a day. I was busy with a week long scout camp and other activities. I planned on visiting YVR soon. But last week, YVR permanently lost 3 of those. China Airlines replaced theirs with an A350, Eva Air replaced theirs with a 773ER, and Qantas removed a shortly lived seasonal flight from Sydney.This is one of the two last remaining 747 flights coming to Vancouver. Most all airlines plan on retiring their 74s (excluding 748s) by end of 2018. BC is also very hazy because of wild fires. Get your pictures while you can and enjoy the video!

Hey there guys! Its a bit of a shaky clip due to the gusty crosswind both my camera and QF were dealigh with. Last week I went up to the North spotting gravel pile and a sign was posted there saying it was private property. I can assume it is being developed and will no longer be a viable spotting location, but since it was saturday, no one was there to stop me. I filmed with an a6300 with the kit 55-210mm lens. in camera, digitally zoomed in 2x and filmed in the 30fps mode which crops the frame even more. In the beginning, the telephoto end was something like 700mm at 1080p. Its tough to film stable at a 700mm equivalent. Hope you enjoyed!")
