If you like Japanese cars, grunge/rock, railroading, and the great pacific northwest, you're in for a ride. After moving to Arizona for the first half of the year, it made me appreciate this region of the country even more once I moved back. Making this raw little short film essentially highlights all the things I missed about this place.

Hey there guys! Its a bit of a shaky clip due to the gusty crosswind both my camera and QF were dealigh with. Last week I went up to the North spotting gravel pile and a sign was posted there saying it was private property. I can assume it is being developed and will no longer be a viable spotting location, but since it was saturday, no one was there to stop me. I filmed with an a6300 with the kit 55-210mm lens. in camera, digitally zoomed in 2x and filmed in the 30fps mode which crops the frame even more. In the beginning, the telephoto end was something like 700mm at 1080p. Its tough to film stable at a 700mm equivalent. Hope you enjoyed!")

Over a year later, Im back with some model reviews. I took an afternoon and made about 20 videos. Theyll all be up in the next week or so. For the past 6 months, Ive been restoring a 1970 Datsun Roadster. It has been sitting outside with a hole in a piston and without a head for over 20 years. I rebuilt and installed a new engine and its now driving and fully operational, including lights and instruments. In the future, I will compile media Ive captured and what Ive learned into 4 or 5 15 minute videos, just as a resource to anyone else restoring a vintage Japanese car. But for now, enjoy the models!")
