Let's skip the usual formalities, this is important.
I finally figured out how to imitate my favourite genre of all time, chiptune rock! I am overjoyed. If this sounds at least a fraction like old school Anamanaguchi then I'm incredibly happy. This is the kind of music I've wanted to make since day one, just pure sugar and dopamine straight into your brain. All it took was to plug in a guitar, get some nice effects and riff along with a beat. Also yes, you're listening to my guitar playing debut, the guitar in the back is from the real thing instead of a virtual instrument. Best part is you can't really even hear the bad playing since I mixed it pretty low!
Hopefully you can hear a little bit of old Anamanaguchi vibes in this. Generally the whole thing is inspired by my favourite band ever, but specifically the straight into the action type opening was from Meow, and I had Penpal on my mind when I was coming up with the verse, you can probably hear similarities in the bassline. That said, I hope it's not too obvious, my fictional lawyer wouldn't enjoy that.
