I was feeling rusty, so practice flight manually tracking tree compared with Vertical Studio App which does visual tracking/camera movements, both using P3P with iPad Mini2, was also trying out HDMI to a tripod monitor for both flights.
Vertical Studio App does give nice smooth tracking up and down, but the Orbit around take off pad is very jerky, so Go POI would be smoother for sure.
VS App is no longer being developed, so I can't recommend it for Phantom (Works well for Osmo though), I plan to look at Litchi properly sometime as the cable cam/quick waypoints look useful as well as visual tracking/following, and it seems a much more polished product than VS and seems to be being developed continuously from release notes.
