Composer, harpist and singer Rachel Newton specialises in interpreting traditional folk songs in both English and Gaelic as well as writing and arranging her own music.

Rosie Chapman, Senior Programme Manager (Folk, Classical and Family) at Kings Place met with Rachel to find out more about her life as a female composer on the folk scene and to discuss Trad. Reclaimed, a series of concerts co-curated by Rachel coming to Kings Place between 15-17 March.
