This Fine Art Friday, I combine my love of painting with my love of poetry. In remembrance of times when we were free to travel, I am painting a scene of a gondolier in Venice in gouache, which reminds me of my visit there years ago. I will also be reading "Italian Embrace". This is a poem that I wrote and it is published in the book "Patchworks" that is a collaboration with several local writers.
