Today we are unboxing another variant of Venezianico Nereide GMT called Grand Tour, and this time it's more than just a color change.
in fact the changes are so big, that they pretty much fixed ALL the negatives I had about the regular GMT. Again based on the smaller 39mm variant that I actually planned on keeping in the collection because of how stunning it looked, but with improvements that fix the things that made me NOT keep it. The "regular" GMT was powered by a Seiko NH34 which made it very thick at almost 14mm, while this one uses a Miyota 9075, which is not only a TRUE GMT but also makes the watch almost 2mm thinner!! and THAT makes ALL the difference!!! On top of that, they made changes to the finish with now featuring brushed finish on all surfaces with just a polished bevel between them!!
Keeping the stunning looks, I think this one WILL stay in the collection!!
