Today we are reviewing a model from Canadian Branch Horology, a sector dial watch. As a fan of legible watches and one that likes when hands reach their designated markers, a sector dial watch is a wet dream as every single hand get's itso own markers or sector of the dial. When done right, these are amazing, and this is one of those.
The drawbacks to this model are somewhat industrial looking crown, acrylic crystal and no rated water resistance, even though the watch does have gaskets. With the price of almost $1.000 that is something I expected to be done better, BUT on the other hand, the fact it is assembled in Canada, the fact it comes with a Swiss made Sellita and flame blued hands, as well as the fact it is really well finished, somewhat justifies the price.
Spec wise, I would prefer sapphire, but other than that, the watch is spectacular, not only in the way it looks, but also the way it wears!! It is incredibly thin and with the snap on caseback that doesn't form any kind of bulge, the curved lugs actually follow the curvature of my wrist perfectly unlike watches that sit high.
