B vitamins are crucial co-factors for many essential processes within the body, such as methylation and the production of neurotransmitters. Many of these B vitamins cannot be sourced from vegetables.

Low levels of these co-factors leads to depression, anxiety and even psychosis. We need these co-factors to create the building blocks for DNA.

Without these essential B vitamins, we cannot convert homocysteine to methionine efficiently leading to an increased risk of dementia and Alzheimer's.
