My thoughts on One Piece, the prolific manga by Eiichiro Oda. Is it too meat-centric and speciesist to be enjoyed by a vegan? Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Nami and Usopp sure don’t seem to spare a second thought to the animals they eat, yet talk about how awesome other animals are- what’s up with that? Thoughts and opinions on characters, and favorite moments from the East Blue (aka volumes 1-12).
