Are you vax on, or vax off?
With Singapore embarking on the endemic COVID-19 roadmap. One question remains among Singaporeans, are you vaccinated?
Singapore wants to get its economy back up and running and is looking at vaccines as the answer. Eight months after the national vaccination started, about four million or more than 70% of the population have gotten both does of the vaccine. Mainly Pfizer-BioNTech/ Comirnaty and Moderna.
Other than the obvious benefits of fighting off the virus and helping curb the spread of COVID, being vaccinated has its perks in Singapore like free fries, free coffee, discounted bubble tea, the awesome ability to dine out again and to finally hangout with friends.
Because of technology tracking vaccinations like TraceTogether and HealthHub, Singapore has become a QR town and people can’t just fake their vaccine certificates.
But what about anti-vaxxers getting left out of all the perks? We talk to someone on team “vax off” about why he’s opposed to getting the jab.
