South Kensington is situated just west of Melbourne CBD. This station is served by the Werribee and Williamstown Lines that continue through the city to Frankston. This station also sees express trains from the Sunbury Line as well as V/line services pass through its Northern and Southern sides respectively.
In this video, you can see a variety of Metro Trains Melbourne rolling stock including Siemens Nexas, X'trapolis 100 and Comeng sets. There are also a few VLocity railcars and 1 N-class service from Warrnambool.
In less than 12 months time, you will no longer see any Sunbury Trains pass through the northern pair of tracks due to the completion of the Melbourne Metro Tunnel.
I had a short visit to Melbourne during the Easter long weekend for other activities but I was fortunate to have enough time to film a few trains at this station, as well as the one at Narre Warren which is available on this channel.
