Hey yall, so I am now back (again) with videos to the channel to show I am not dead, just kinda busy that's all. However, I do have lots of plans and projects coming up so that is going to be fun. ALSO ANOTHER QUICK REMINDER! Anyways, lets get into this tasty review lol
To start things off, I have known of Apstrom for quite some time now and seen the progression that this creator has made and to say the least, it blows me away every time. The designs are honestly quite as perfect as you would want a solid level to be so there isn't really any complaints about it at all. Parts such as DangerKat's part have such a nice balance between design while parts such as jhymhmhy;s part have such intensity and great on screen effects that this level has such a nice correlation between each part in terms of the overall theme. Honestly, my favorite part was definitely at 80%, I mean do I have to explain? probably not. All in all in terms of design, there isn't really anything I can point out that could need work or anything like that, it is just a solid level with very solid creators so it is what it is.
Now for the gameplay though, it was honestly not bad, overall it's pretty consistent so there isn't much to say. Some transitions here and there feel a tad bit awkward to go through but nothing that is impossible to sight-read or make it past. By that I mean a dash orb into a ship gamemode from cube, just felt a little weird and off to me, not that is was a bad transition at all, it just could have been a little smoother I guess? yet again that is me nit picking again. The gameplay really isn't that "special" but its also better than your average level if that makes any sense.
So there we have it, a VERY solid 8 star level from these amazing creators and I can tell you right now, I will be looking forward to future levels from Apstrom. If you know me well, you know I am a sucker for a mix of effects and design levels, so I might be raving about this level a little much more than I probably should, but how can you not? I would safely say this will get an epic 7/8 star rating, it's pretty hard for me to see anything else. Amazing job to everyone who participated in the collab:)
