My height and the amount of standing room I have in the van seems to be a question I get asked quite often. I decided to grab some tall friends of mine to join me for a day to get their opinions on what it’s like being tall and spending time in the van.
This is definitely a humorous take on being tall in a van and I didn’t really provide any exact numbers within the video. To clarify, I have about 73 inches of standing room within the van, so if you’re over six feet tall things will start to get a little claustrophobic. You can gain a few inches by using a thinner subfloor and flooring, but nothing drastic. If you are a taller person thinking about being in a van I would suggest going for a brand van with a higher roof.
