A family from Newton Purcell, Oxfordshire, say they are devastated after a beloved Peppa Pig-shaped hedge was vandalised and its head cut off.

The popular topiary, which took years to grow, was found damaged between 13 and 15 August after someone allegedly used a saw to remove its head.

Owners say the famous roadside attraction had become a local landmark, while Thames Valley Police have launched an appeal for information.
