Take out his minion, then lay into him. When he gets below 30% HP, he'll start using Desperate Horror, which will likely kill anyone it hits. If you are unable to kill him in a single chain, bring him just low enough that he won't use it, then try to finish him. You can also try and use Sap Power to reduce his damage.
