Valis: The Fantasm Soldier is one of several versions of the first Valis game from Telenet Japan. The version seen here on Evercade originated on the Mega Drive, and is a good example of Telenet and their various development partners trying to introduce the idea of storytelling during gameplay... even if those story sequences are a tad slow!
