Valeton GP 150 & 180 MIDI Preset Switching - Mvave Chocolate Plus Configuration Guide
In this video I show how to configure preset switching on the Valeton GP-150 Multi-Effects Processor using the M-VAVE Chocolate Plus MIDI controller. This applies to the GP-180 Multi-Effects Processor as well
In this step-by-step tutorial, I walk through:
Configuring M-VAVE Chocolate Plus with the CubeSuite app for GP-150 preset MIDI switching
Setting up the correct global MIDI settings on the Valeton GP-150
This setup is perfect if you're building a compact MIDI pedalboard and want hands-free preset control using the Chocolate Plus.
IMPORTANT NOTE: when configuring a chocolate plus footswitch to switch GP150/180 presets 001-128 for the first time in the PC range of 0-127, CC0’s default is 0 in the CubeSuite app. CC0 should be set to 1 to switch GP150/180 presets 129-200 using PC 0-71 accordingly. This info (the chart i show in the video) is in the GP150/180 manual.
🎸 Note: Valeton was kind enough to send me the GP-150 for testing and review. All opinions are my own.
