As a part of Valero's continued commitment to be good stewards of the environment, Valero Volunteers at the Meraux refinery hosted a tree giveaway for its neighbors in St. Bernard Parish.
By partnering with NOLA Tree Project and St. Bernard Parish leaders, the Meraux refinery distributed 500 trees to residents of the parish.
Valero also presented NOLA Tree Project with a $16,000 donation to help fund the organization's mission of replanting the 100,000+ trees that were lost during Hurricane Katrina.
