Valero McKee Refinery through the Valero Benefit for Children ( BFC) program works with Snack Pak 4 Kids, a nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing childhood food insecurity in Dumas, Texas, one of the communities near Valero’s McKee Refinery. Through this partnership, Valero volunteers join Snack Pak 4 Kids to pack weekend food bags that are discreetly distributed to students at local schools.
For many students, school meals are their most reliable source of nutrition. Snack Pak 4 Kids helps bridge the weekend gap by providing bags filled with easy-to-prepare kid-friendly items. By packing and supporting the distribution of these meals, our volunteers are helping to meet a critical need in the community while showing students and their families that they are supported and cared for.
