As part of Valero’s ongoing commitment to education and literacy, Valero gave a $21,000 contribution to the United Way of Mid & South Jefferson County. This donation helped install a book vending machine at DeQueen Elementary in Port Arthur, just outside Beaumont, Texas, supporting students in the Accelerated Reading Program.
The initiative encourages reading comprehension and rewards students with books tailored to their reading levels, helping them build a lifelong love of learning.
