My sister lives in Canada so when I want to send her or my nephew a quilt for Christmas I have to maximize space in my parcels as not only am I charged by weight but also dimensions.

I vacuum pack my quilts and then put them in fabric gift bags. My sister opened one last year and was shocked that it was a quilt because the bag didn't look big enough! The wonders of vacuum sealing...;)
