Initially the UWACAM App was meant to be an application available on iOS only. But because Android users kept asking us when it would finally become available for Android devices ever since UWACAM was first introduced in January 2025, we felt like we had to do whatever was in our power to bring the awesomeness of UWACAM to the Android system. And exactly 1 year after the initial market launch for iOS, we published the long awaited UWACAM App for Android.
In this video I talk again to Andi, the mastermind behind UWACAM, about why we decided to go iOS only at the beginning, what changed our minds and why it still took so long to publish an Android version of UWACAM. We also talk about similarities and differences between those two platforms and how the further development of the app is planned for each of the platforms.
