About Tony's Demo:
The focus of this demo is to show a rapid technique to capture the essential character of the street/buildings and street life (including people).
Tony will draw a streetscape panorama in a short time frame. He will select a shaded spot on a sidewalk or pedestrian area with a wide view angle to street and buildings. After defining the limits and focal point(s) of the panorama on paper, he will sketch in a fountain pen using blue-black and red-black inks, showing how to spread ink lines with a waterbrush to indicate values. This will be followed by use of acrylic ink rendering and working with a limited palette.
