I recently made a video on how to train your dog the wait cue. This is an example of one of the many benefits to training your dog the cue to wait. You can use the cue in between behaviors when asking for behaviors in a sequence. If you trained a calm waiting behavior using positive reinforcement it can bring clarity to what to do in between cues and reduce frustration and offering. You can then phase out the verbal cue and start to reinforce a default waiting behavior in between cues as well as reinforcing the behaviors. #dogtraining #dogtrainer #professionaldogtraining
