The Weather And Networked Data (WAND) network of towers has recently gone live. A joint project between CRDC, GRDC and GoannaAg, it allows growers to see the latest weather readings from their local tower, and predicts whether a hazardous inversion is current or likely to occur in the next 2 hours.
Hamish Clark, an early adopter of the WAND system, explains his experience with the network and associated app, and how it has benefited both him and his neighbours.
