This presentation will utilize use Tableau to explore the Tri-Council & Web of Science open data sets to measure the role of O’Brien members and students in Canadian public health research.
Justin Bisal is the Lead Statistical Analyst, Office of Faculty Development & Performance. In his current role, Justin utilizes data visualization software to explore public and private data to examine research related activity in higher-education.
Objectives:
- Understand how Data Visualization software can support interactive data storytelling
- Explore how Open Data Sets can be used to generate metrics on Research inputs and outputs
- Recall how simple search terms can be used to filter metrics for a topic like Public Health
