When your synthesizer is bitimbral (like the Novation Summit or Hydrasynth Deluxe) or multitimbral (like MODX or Montage) you can create complex, evolving sounds using different layers. In this video I demonstrate how you can construct a multi-layer sound on the Montage/MODX, and then use modulation to change the way it plays depending on the performance of the musician.
