Montage M ESP VST Plugin Has Problems Connecting to Montage M @ScottsSynthStuff

I cannot get my Montage M ESP plugin to communicate with my Monage M7. It fails instantly, every time, with some very odd errors. Apparently, I'm not the only one experiencing this problem, and it's happening on both Windows and Mac computers.
