Despite being 20 years old, Windows 2000 is still highly serviceable as a Daily Driver OS. Here's how to do it:
!!!Please read the description fully!!!

VERY IMPORTANT: Windows update no longer works. You can use Legacy Update to automatically install all of the updates using a WSUS server instead.

Important: Not mentioned in the video:
Please install VC2008 Redist from MS on your 2000 machines, they're required for many things. You can install them whenever in the process, as long as it is BEFORE installing the kernel! My browser installer requires this, as an example.

If you dont have SP4 preinstalled, you can download and install it from here: i430vx.net/files/Win2k/W2KSP4_EN.EXE

Once you have SP4 installed, you can enable access to larger hard drives, instructions here: i430vx.net/files/Win2k/bighdd.txt

Snappy Driver Installer, a great Win2k-comaptible driver installer (you can download driverpacks on a different PC if your Win2k one doesnt have network drivers yet): i430vx.net/files/Win2k/SDI_R436.zip
