SawStop's T-Glide Advance rip fence can be used as an L-Fence by simply repositioning the aluminum face as shown. This provides 1" of clearance between the fence and tabletop. You can then use this formation to saw a straight edge onto a board or piece of plywood that lacks a straight edge, or cut along grain that's not currently parallel to the board's edges to establish a new straight edge.
