Using a sacrificial fence on a table saw allows you to easily cut rabbets and other open-ended joints without the blade ever contacting--and damaging--the actual rip fence. With SawStop's T-Glide Advance rip fence, it's easy to attach a sacrificial fence using the dovetail groove along the front of the aluminum fence face. This process also works for attaching any type of jig or fixture.
