The US has been trying to revive its Gaza peace plan with Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner visiting the Middle East.
Roundtable guest Yousef Alhelou, a political analyst, says he is “not optimistic” about the deal as “the US has never been an honest peace mediator or broker”.
He says Trump, Netanyahu and Kushner view Palestinians as “subhuman” and thinks the Israeli leader has been “abusing” Trump and the peace plans set out by the Board of Peace.
