Entry 31.2: Everyone and their mother has posted a video pretending to explain the ending to Jordan Peele's Us. I am being slightly more realistic than that, because art isn't meant to be, nor should it be, explained. And you should be leery of anyone who claims to be doing it.
But I sure do have a lot of thoughts about Us. And here I try my best to unpack what I see as the most obvious interpretation of the film's central metaphor.
