On Thursday, Sept. 18, UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital staff placed and lit hundreds of luminaries in front of the hospital.
These luminary tributes were provided by patients and community members. They were dedicated with love and intention to individuals affected by breast (pink), ovarian (teal), and other gynecologic cancers (purple), creating a moment of connection and shared light through awareness.
